कभी - कभी हम इतना ज्यादा सोच लेते हैं कि बाद मे हमें ही समझ नहीं आता कि हम ये क्या सोच रहे थे। आपने कभी देखे हैं कि किसी के रहने ना रहने से किसी के जीवन में कोई फर्क पड़ा है। आपके सुख दुःख, उदासी, हंसी ये आपके अपने एहसास है किसी को इससे कोई मतलब नहीं है।

हां आपकी खुशी से लोगों में सवाल जरूर घूम जाता है कि क्या बात है बहुत खुश हो आजकल, लेकिन यही लोग उदास देखेंगे तो मुंह फेरकर चले जाएंगे क्योंकि उन्हें आपसे कोई लेना देना नहीं है। बुरे समय में धैर्य रखें खुद को समझें परिवार में अपनी अहमियत जानें। खैर ! जीवन में यदि बुरा वक्त आता है तो उस समय को परीक्षा का समय समझकर उसका डटकर मुकाबला करो क्योंकि जब हम वक्त से भागने की कोशिश करते हैं तो कुछ ऐसी गलतियां कर देते हैं जो जीवन में कभी सुधारी नहीं जा सकती।

ऐसी ही एक गलती देविका ने की जिससे उसका जीवन दयनीय अवस्था में पहुंच गया। गांव की रहने वाली सीधी सादी देविका अपने पति धर्मेश के साथ सुखी जीवन जी रही थी। एक बेटा संजय और बेटी नलिनी अब स्कूल जाने लगे थे। देविका अपने घर के कामों में व्यस्त रहती थी धर्मेश का व्यापार भी काफी अच्छा चलता था उनका जीवन बहुत अच्छा बीत रहा था। लेकिन उनके घर में सुख ज्यादा दिनों तक नहीं रहा क्योंकि धर्मेश ने शराब पीना शुरू कर दिया था। धीरे धीरे शराब की लत ने उसके शरीर को खराब करना शुरु कर दिया और धर्मेश कमजोर होता गया। देविका ने हर मुमकिन कोशिश की अपने पति को बचाने की। लेकिन धर्मेश नहीं बच पाया और बच्चों के साथ देविका अकेली रह गई। देविका के सामने जीवन यापन की कोई समस्या नहीं थी क्योंकि धर्मेश ने अच्छी खासी संपत्ति बना लिया था। धर्मेश की मृत्यु के बाद देविका बच्चों के साथ सुखी जीवन जी रही थी, वो माता पिता दोनों का फ़र्ज़ निभा रही थी और समय बीत रहा था। इसी बीच देविका की नजदीकियां अमित से बढ़ने लगी अमित पहले से विवाहित था।

देविका भी ये बात जानती थी, लेकिन फिर भी वो अपने आपको रोक या समझा नहीं सकी। और अमित के साथ रिश्ते में आगे बढ़ती गई। अमित ने देविका को अपने विश्वास में लेकर उसकी सारी संपत्ति अपने नाम करवा लिया। देविका ने ना अपने बच्चों के भविष्य के लिए सोची और न अपने बुढ़ापे का विचार की। खैर ! बेटी विवाह योग्य हो गई तो अमित ने उसके योग्य वर ढूंढकर बेटी का विवाह करवा दिया। बेटे संजय को भी खूब पढ़ाया लिखाया और अच्छी नौकरी पर लगवा दिया। बच्चों का भविष्य नहीं बिगड़ा ये तसल्ली है देविका को। लेकिन अब अमित के बच्चे भी बड़े हो गए हैं जो कभी भी आकर देविका से लड़ाई करते हैं और उसे उसके ही घर से निकल जाने को कहते हैं। देविका को देखकर दुःख होता है। उसे किसी पर विश्वास करने की ये सजा मिल रही है कि जिस बुढ़ापे को सुरक्षित करने के लिए उसके पति धर्मेश ने जो संपत्ति बनाई थी वो अब देविका के काम नहीं आ रही है।

हम भावनाओं में बहकर कभी कभी ऐसे फैसले कर लेते हैं जिससे सब कुछ बर्बाद हो जाता है आज देविका को उसके बच्चे भी पसंद नहीं करते हैं। स्वार्थ में अंधी देविका उस समय खुद के सुख विचार नहीं करती तो आज दुखी नहीं रहती।

Well ! If bad times come in life, consider that time as a test and face it bravely, because when we try to run away from difficult times, we make mistakes that can never be corrected in life.

Devika made a similar mistake, which led to her life becoming miserable. Devika, a simple woman from the village, was living a happy life with her husband, Dharmesh. Their son Sanjay and daughter, Nalini, had just started going to school, Devika kept herself busy with her household chores. Dharmesh's business was doing very well, and he was living a comfortable life. But the happiness in their home didn't last long because Dharmesh started drinking alcohol. Gradually, his addiction to alcohol began to ruin his health, and Dharmesh grew weaker. Devika tried everything she could to save her husband, but Dharmesh couldn't be saved and Devika was left alone with her children. Devika had no financial problems as Dharmesh had accumulated considerable wealth. After Dharmesh's death, Devika was living a happy life with her children, fulfilling the roles of both mother and father, and time was passing by. Meanwhile, Devika's relationship with Amit began to deepen. Amit was already married.

Devika knew this, but she still couldn't stop herself or reason with herself. And she continued the relationship with Amit. Amit gained Devika's trust and transferred all her property into his name. Devika neither thought about the future of her children nor considered her own old age. Well ! When their daughter reached marriageable age. Amit found a suitable groom for her and got her married. He also educated his son, Sanjay, well and helped him get a good job. Devika is relieved that her children's future is secure. But now Amit's children have also grown up, and they often come and argue with Devika telling her to leave her own house.

Sometimes, we get carried away by our emotions and make decisions that ruin everything. Today, even Devika's own children don't like her. If Devika, blinded by selfishness, hadn't only thought about her own happiness back then, she wouldn't be so unhappy today.
