प्यार सिर्फ मेरा था / Love was only mine

कावेरी एक प्राइवेट बैंक में कैशियर के पद पर कार्यरत थी। उसी बैंक में साथ के टेबल पर भरत बैठा करता था। दोनों समकक्ष पद पर कार्यरत थे, तो रोज ही मुलाकात होती थी। दिनभर साथ काम करते थे, शाम में कभी कभी भरत कावेरी को घर तक छोड़ने आ जाया करता था।

         

भरत का इस तरह कावेरी को ज्यादा समय देना और कभी कभार छोड़ने आने से ऑफिस और पड़ोसी भी यही कयास लगा रहे थे कि दोनों के बीच कुछ न कुछ चल रहा है।

                कावेरी इन सब बातों से अनजान थी क्योंकि वो भरत को सिर्फ एक अच्छा दोस्त ही समझती थी। लेकिन धीरे धीरे कावेरी को भी ये एहसास होने लगा कि उसे भरत से प्यार हो गया है। 

               भरत अब कुछ ज्यादा ही परवाह करने लगा हैं कावेरी की। लेकिन कभी बोला नहीं कि वो कावेरी से प्यार करता है। समय के साथ कावेरी का प्यार बढ़ता जा रहा था, लेकिन कभी कभी वो ये भी सोचती थी कि भरत ने कभी नहीं कहा कि वो मुझे प्यार करता है फिर मैं कैसे इतने आगे बढ़ रही हूं।

          आज भरत को मन की बात बताने का निर्णय लेकर कावेरी घर से ऑफिस के लिए निकली। रास्ते में ही भरत भी मिल गया, दोनो साथ ही पहुंचे ऑफिस। दोपहर तक जैसे तैसे समय बीता कावेरी का। भोजन अवकाश में दोनो कैंटीन में गए तब कावेरी को परेशान देखकर भरत ने ही पूछा क्या बात है कावेरी तुम कुछ कहना चाहती हो। कावेरी कुछ नहीं बोली।

          

उससे पहले मैं तुम्हें कुछ बताना चाहता हूं। मेरा तबादला हो गया है, पदोन्नति के साथ। मुझे पंद्रह दिनों के अंदर दूसरे शहर जाना है, अपने नए पद पर कार्यभार संभालने। लेकिन जाने से पहले मैं शादी करना चाहता हूं। ये सुनकर कावेरी चुप हो गई। क्योंकि उसे ये नहीं पता था कि भरत की शादी किससे हो रही है। 

       आज भरत ऑफिस से जल्दी घर चला गया। कावेरी का मन नही लग रहा था काम में। वो यही सोच रही थी कि प्यार सिर्फ मेरा था, भरत का कोई दोष नहीं, क्योंकि उसे तो ये भी नहीं पता कि मै उसे प्यार करती हूं। बार बार आंखों में आंसू आ रहे थे। जैसे तैसे काम खत्म करके शाम में जब घर पहुंची तो मम्मी ने बोली कावेरी जल्दी तैयार हो जाओ, तुम्हें देखने आ रहे हैं लड़के वाले।

                         कावेरी को कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा था कि क्या हो रहा है। बेमन से तैयार हुई और जब मेहमान आए तो एक गुड़िया की तरह नजरें झुकाए चुपचाप बैठी रही। ना कोई सवाल ना कोई जवाब दी उसने। जाने से पहले कावेरी को कहा गया कि जाओ गार्डन में लड़का तुम्हारा इंतजार कर रहा है एक बार देख लो फिर अपना निर्णय बता दो।

                          कावेरी बिना कोई प्रतिक्रिया दिए वहां से उठकर चली गई। कावेरी ने बाहर जाकर देखी तो वहां भरत खड़ा था। कावेरी को विश्वास नहीं हुआ कि जिससे उसकी शादी की बात चल रही है वो कोई और नहीं उसका प्यार भरत ही है। 

             कावेरी की आंखों में आंसू आ गए, भरत ने कावेरी को गले  लगाते हुए कहा तुम्हे क्या लगा था, क्या मैं तुम्हारी भावनाओं को समझ नहीं पाया हूं। प्यार सिर्फ तुम्हारा नहीं था, मैं भी तुम्हे उतना ही प्यार करता हूं जितना तुम मुझे करती हो।

              

सभी की सहमति से दोनो की शादी हुई और  सुखी जीवन की शुभकामनाओं के साथ कावेरी की विदाई भी हो गई।  

                     ये बात तो सच है कि जब तक हम अपनी भावनाओं को व्यक्त नहीं करते तब तक हम यही सोचते हैं कि उसे हमारी परवाह नहीं है। हम किसी से प्यार करते हैं और यदि उस व्यक्ति ने सही प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दी तो हमारे भी मन में यही विचार आएगा कि प्यार तो सिर्फ मैं ही करती हूं, उसे मुझसे प्यार नहीं है। लेकिन कुछ लोग ऐसे भी होते हैं जो प्यार को पूर्णता देना पसंद करते हैं। शादी ही प्यार की मंजिल है, यहां तक पहुंचना ही प्यार को पूर्णता प्रदान करता है। 😊😊

Kaveri was working as a cashier in a private bank. Bharat used to sit at the next table in the same bank. Both were working in equivalent positions, so they used to meet every day. They used to work together throughout the day, sometimes in the evening Bharat used to come to drop Kaveri home. 

            

With bharat giving more time to Kaveri and coming to leave occasionally, the office and neighbours were also speculating that something was going on between the two.

                     Kaveri was unaware of all these things because she considered bharat only a good friend. But slowly Kaveri also started realizing that she had fallen in love with bharat. 

          

Bharat has now started caring a little more about Kaveri. But never said that he loves Kaveri. Kaveri's love was increasing with time, but sometimes she also thought that bharat never said that he loves me, then how an I moving so far.  

                             Today Kaveri left home for offlice after deciding to tell Bharat's mind. Bharat was also found on the way, both of them reached the office together. By noon, kaveri's time passed anyway. When both of them went to the canteen during the lunch break, seeing Kaveri upset, Bharat asked what is the matter Kaveri, do you want to say something. Kaveri did not say anything.

                               Before that I want to tell you something. I have been transferred with promotion. I have to move to another city within fifteen days to take charge in my new post. But before leaving I want to get married. Hearing this, Kaveri fell silent. Because she did not know to whom bharat is getting married.

         

Today bharat went home early from office. Kaveri did not feel like working. She was thinking that love was only mine, there is no fault of bharat, because he does not even know that I love him. As soon as she reached home in the evening after finishing the work, the mother said, Kaveri, get ready soon, the boys are coming to see you. 

                          Kaveri could not understand what was happening. She got ready eagerly and when the guests come, she sat silently with her eyes bowing like a doll. She gave neither any question nor any answer. Before leaving, was asked to go the boy is waiting for you in the garden take a look and then tell your decision.

                              Kaveri got up and left without giving any response. Kaveri went outside and saw bharat standing there. Kaveri could not believe that the one to whom her marriage is going on was none other than her love Bharat.      

Tears welled up in Kaveri's eyes Bharat hugged Kaveri and said, what did you think, have I not understand your feelings. The love was not only yours, I love you as much as you do me.  

         

With everyone's  consent the marriage of both was completed and kaveri's farewell also took place with the best wishes of a happy life.

                      It is true that until we express our feelings, we think that he does not care about us. 

                           We love someone and if that person does not give the right response, then the same thought will come in our mind that only I do love. He doesnt love me. But there are some people who believe in making love complete. Marriage is the destination of love, reaching here only  completes love. 😊😊
