खोया हुआ पर्स वापस पाकर कनक ये सोचने पर मजबूर हो गई कि ईमानदार लोग आज भी हैं। पर्स वापस पाना उसके लिए अविश्वसनीय था, उसमें ढाई लाख रुपए का चेक था और कुछ जेवरात भी।

           

जबकि ज़िंदगी के लिए उसका अनुभव बिल्कल उलट था। रिश्तों में बहुत बेईमानी और धोखेबाजी देखी और सही थी उसने। घर आकर फोटो का एलबम देखने लगी, सबकुछ चलचित्र की तरह आंखों के सामने से आने जाने लगा।

उसे याद आया कि कैसे वो पति की हरकतों को देखकर भी चुप रहती थी। सिर्फ ये सोचकर कि समय के साथ सब ठीक हो जाएगा, लेकिन वो सुधरने वालों में से नहीं था। कनक को बस यही याद आ रहा था कि आलोक कैसे उसे नज़र अंदाज़ करने लगा था, और दूसरों में कितनी रुचि थी उसको। कनक एक समझदार और सहनशील महिला थी। उसे अब इस सबकी आदत हो गई थी।

लेकिन आलोक की हालत गिरती जा रही थी, सारी सारी रात जागने का और उसकी हरकतों का अब उसकी सेहत पर असर असर दिखने लगा था। ना सुधरने की कसम ली थी शायद आलोक ने। अब कनक हालत से और समझौता करने को तैयार नहीं थी, उसने अलग होने का पक्का मन बना ली थी।

            कनक खुद से ही सवाल कर रही थी कि क्या कमी थी उसके प्यार में, और आलोक को किस चीज की तलाश थी जो वो लगातार ढूंढ रहा था। मुझसे अधिक प्यार कौन करेगा इसे।

             आलोक की हर कमी को स्वीकारी लेकिन वो पत्नी के प्यार और समर्पण को देखकर भी ईमानदारी नहीं रख सका वो किसके लिए ईमानदार होगा।😔😔

After getting the lost purse back, Kanak was forced to think that there are honest people even today. It was unbelievable for her to get the purse back, it contained a check for Rs 2.5 lakh and some jewellery. 

  

Whereas his experience for life was quite the opposite.  He saw a lot of dishonesty and deceit in relationships and he was right.  After coming home, I started looking at the album of photos, everything started coming in front of my eyes like a movie.

She remembered how she used to keep silent even after seeing her husband's antics. Just thinking that everything will be alright with time, but he was not one to improve. Kanak could only remember how Alok had started ignoring him, and how interested he was in others. Kanak was a sensible and tolerant woman. He was used to all this now.

But Alok's condition was deteriorating, the effect of staying awake all night and his actions was now showing effect on his health. Perhaps Alok had vowed not to improve. Now Kanak was not ready to compromise any more, she had made up her mind to part ways.

                   Kanak was asking himself what was missing in his love, and what was Alok looking for that he was constantly looking for. Who will love this more than me?

                      Accepted all the shortcomings of Alok but he could not keep honesty even after seeing the love and dedication of his wife, for whom would he be honest.😔😔
