जिम्मेदारी / Responsibility

हमारी परंपरा रही है हमेशा से, कि हर जिम्मेदारी को पूरा करना स्त्रियों के हिस्से में ही आती है, ऐसा क्यों है?

समाज में ये भेदभाव हमेशा स्त्रियों को ही सहना पड़ता है। जब भी किसी परिवार में बेटी का जन्म होता है तभी से उसके पिता को सब यही बोलते हैं कि अच्छे संस्कार देना और रीति रिवाज की जानकारी देना।

बेटी थोड़ी बड़ी हुई नहीं कि उसे यही समझाया जाता है कि तुम पर परिवार के मान सम्मान की जिम्मेदारी है, हमेशा अपनी मर्यादा का ख्याल रखना। घर की इज्ज़त तुम्हारे हाथ में है कुछ जिम्मेदारियां बेटों को भी दी जाए तो समाज में बेटियां और घर की इज्ज़त दोनो सुरक्षित हो जाए।

कल की ही बात है मैं सब्जी खरीदकर अपने घर वापस आ रही थी। नुक्कड़ पर तीन चार पुरुष टोली बनाकर खड़े थे। ऊंचे स्वर में बात कर रहे थे अरे यार वो फलाने की पत्नी कितनी चरित्रहीन है, उसका प्रेम प्रसंग है किसी अन्य पुरुष से। तो पुरुष चरित्रहीन क्यों नहीं कहलाया गया। क्या अकेली स्त्री ही उससे प्रेम करती है, वो पुरुष क्यों निर्दोष है ? क्योंकि वो पुरुष है इसलिए , या समाज की सभी परंपराओं और रीति रिवाजों को निभाने की जिम्मेदारी स्त्रियों की है इसलिए वो हर स्थिति में दोषी है। 😔

Women always have to bear this discrimination in the society. Whenever a daughter is born in a family, since then everyone tells her father to give good values and give information about customs.

The daughter has not grown up a bit that it is explained to her that you are responsible for the honor and respect of the family, always take care of your dignity. The honor of the house is in your hands. If some responsibilities are given to the sons too, then both the daughters and the honor of the house should be safe in the society.

It was only yesterday that I was coming back to my house after buying vegetables. Three or four men were standing in a group on the street. He was talking in a loud voice, oh man, how characterless the wife of such a thing is, she has a love affair with another man. So why was the man not called characterless? Is only a woman in love with him, why is that man innocent? Because she is a man, or because it is the responsibility of women to follow all the traditions and customs of the society, so she is guilty in every situation. 😔
