सुख और दुःख / Happiness and Sorrow

अपना दुःख सबसे बड़ा लगता है हर इंसान को। दूसरों के दुःख पर दुखी ना होना कोई नई बात नहीं है, कभी कभी तो ताना देने में भी नहीं सोचते लोग।

        

सरिता वर्षा की ननद है। सरिता के ससुराल में कुछ विवाद चल रहा था, जिसकी वजह से सरिता गुस्सा होकर अपने मायके आ गई। इस बात को अभी एक सप्ताह ही बीता था कि वर्षा ने ननद को बुरा भला कहना शुरू कर दी।

सरिता ज्यादा जवाब नहीं देती थी, क्योंकि उसके संस्कार ऐसे नहीं थे। सरिता अपने भाई संजीव से पूरे चार साल छोटी थी। इस वजह से वो अपनी भाभी को भी कोई जवाब नहीं देती थी।

सरिता आज जिस परिस्थिति में थी उसके लिए वो कभी तैयार नहीं थी। लेकिन पति के चाल - चलन ठीक ना होने के कारण रोज ही ससुराल में लड़ाई का माहौल बन जाता था, और सरिता कभी ऐसे माहौल में नहीं रही, उसका जी घबराने लगता था वहां। तो उसकी मां ने उसे मायके वापस बुलवा ली।

       

सरिता हालात से समझौता करना सीख ही रही थी, क्योंकि ये तो रोज ही होता था। सरिता सोचती थी पति को प्यार से सही रास्ते पर ले आऊंगी, लेकिन वो बिगड़ैल आदमी सुधरने के बजाय और ज्यादा अकड़ता, घर में धौंस जमाता था। ये सब ज्यादा दिन तक नहीं चल सका, सरिता का पति जिसके लिए ये सब करता था, आखिर उसी के पास चला गया।

अब सरिता का यहां रहना किसी मतलब का नही था, इसलिए उसे मायके आना पड़ा। अक्सर उदास ननद को देख वर्षा हंसती हुई कहती थी, बेचारी की किस्मत ही खराब है। सरिता कोई जवाब नहीं देती थी, लेकिन मन ही मन ये सोचती थी कि किस्मत कब पलट जायेगी किसी को नही पता है भाभी।

               भाई संजीव सरिता को हमेशा समझाते थे कि तुम चिंता मत करो सब ठीक होगा। कल संजीव को ऑफिस के काम से दिल्ली जाना है एक सप्ताह के लिए। वर्षा साथ जाने की जिद्द करने लगी तो संजीव उसे साथ ले गया। ऑफिस से छह लोगों का समूह भेजा गया था। संजीव की अधिकारी ज्यादा समय संजीव के साथ बिताती थी क्योंकि वो जिस काम के लिए आए थे उसकी ज्यादा जानकारी संजीव को थी।

        

ये सब देखकर वर्षा को अच्छा नहीं लगा। अब न वो संजीव को रोक सकती थी और ना कुछ पूछ सकती थी। जैसे - तैसे एक सप्ताह खत्म हुआ और वो घर आ गए, घर आते ही वर्षा ने सबसे पहले ये बात ननद सरिता को बताई। सरिता अपनी भाभी की हालत देखकर हैरान थी, कल तक ये मेरे दुख पर हंसती थी आज खुद को अपना दुःख कितना बड़ा लग रहा है, जबकि भैया तो ऐसे हैं ही नहीं। 

             

भाई के चरित्र पर संदेह करने का मतलब था अपनी परवरिश पर प्रश्न चिन्ह लगाना। ख़ैर ! सरिता हमेशा की तरह चुप ही रही। भाभी से यही कही कि आप चिंता मत करो सब ठीक हो जाएगा। वर्षा डबडबाई आंखों से सरिता को देखती रही।

                  सरिता के दुख के दिन अब खत्म हुए क्योंकि उसका पति उसे ससुराल ले जाने के लिए आया है। उसे अपनी गलती का एहसास हुआ और अब हमेशा साथ निभाने का वादा करके सरिता को साथ ले गया। 

        

जाते हुए सरिता ने अपनी भाभी से बस यही कही कि दुख अपना हो या पराया। दुःख सिर्फ दुःख होता है, साथ कोई नहीं देता, लेकिन हौसला देकर आप दूसरों के दुःख को कम कर सकते हो भाभी। मैं जीवन भर के लिए नहीं आई थी मायके। लेकिन ना आपने मेरे दुःख को समझे और ना मेरी मजबूरी। मैं तो जा रही हूं, लेकिन आप ये बात याद रखना कि चाहे कोई भी हो किसी के जीवन में सुख या दुःख हमेशा के लिए नहीं रहता।

भैया की तरफ से निश्चिंत रहो। आपको मेरी तरह किसी भी कठिन परिस्थिति का सामना नहीं करना पड़ेगा। आप और भैया हमेशा खुश और सुखी रहो, यही शुभकामनाएं देती हूं आपको।

Everyone feels his sorrow the biggest. Not being sad at the misery of others is not a new things, sometimes people do not even think of taunting.

         

Sarita is the sister - in - law of Varsha. There was some dispute going on in Sarita's in - law's house, due to which Sarita got angry and came to her maternal home. It was only a week after this things that Varsha started saying bad things to her sister - in - law.

Sarita did not answer much, because her sanskara were not like this. Sarita was four years you younger than her brother Sanjeev. Because of this, she did not give any answer even to her sister - in - law.

                 She was never ready for the situation Sarita was in today. But due to her husband's conduct, there used to be an atmosphere of fighting in the in - law's house every day, and Sarita never lived in such an environment. His life started getting nervous there, so his mother called him back to his maternal home.

         

Sarita was learning to deal with the situation as it happened every day. Sarita used to think that I will bring her husband on the right path with love, but instead of improving the spoiled man, he used to stifle more, bully in the house. All this could not last long, Sarita's husband for whom he used to do all this, finally went to him.

                       Now Sarita's stay here was of no use, so she had to come to her maternal home, often, seeing the sad sister - in - law, Varsha used to laugh and say, the poor luck is bad. Sarita did not give any answer, but she used to think in her heart that no one knows when the luck will turn, sister - in - law.

Brother Sanjeev always used to explain to Sarita that you do not worry, everything will be fine. Tomorrow Sanjeev has to go to Delhi for office work for a week. When Varsha insisted on going along, Sanjeev took her along. A group of six people was sent from the office. Sanjeev's officer used to spend more time with Sanjeev because Sanjeev knew more about the work he had come for.

           

Seeing all this, Varsha did not like it. Now she could neither stop Sanjeev nor could she ask anything. As soon as a week ended and he came home. Varsha first told this to sister - in - law Sarita as soon as she came home. Sarita was surprised to see her sister - in - law's condition, till yesterday she used to laugh at my misery today she is feeling her misery, so big, while brother is not like that.

        

        

To doubt the character of the brother meant to put a question mark on his upbringing. Well ! Sarita remained silent as usual. Said this to sister - in - law that you do not worry, everything will be fine. Varsha kept looking at Sarita with teary eyes.

Sarita's sad days are over as her husband has come to take her to her in - law's house. He realised his mistake and now took Sarita along, promising to be with him forever.

       

While leaving, Sarita only said to her sister - in - law whether the sorrow was her own or foreigner. Grief is only sorrow, no one gives support but by giving encouragement, you can reduce the suffering of others, sister - in - law. I had not come for a lifetime. But you neither understand my sorrow nor my helplessness. I am leaving but you must remember that no matter what happens, happiness or sorrow in one's life does not last forever.
