उम्मीद / Hope

उम्मीद झूठे सपनों से, जो कभी पूरे नहीं होंगे। क्योंकि उम्मीद तो हमेशा ही दुःख का कारण होती है।

आज मनीषा काम ढूंढने गई थी और फिर निराश होकर घर लौटी है। ज्यादा पढ़ी लिखी नही थी इसलिए वो किसी दुकान में ही काम करना चाहती थी। अपनी जिंदगी में हर दिन एक नया सबक सीख रही है वो।

           

पुनीत के प्यार में पड़ कर मनीषा बिना कुछ सोचे समझे घर से निकल गई। पुनीत बातों ही बातों में सपनों के महल बना देता था। मनीषा को उसकी सभी बातें सच लगती थी और वो भी सपनों की दुनिया में रहने लगी।

पुनीत ने उसे शादी का लालच देकर अपने साथ चलने के लिए राजी कर लिया। मनीषा ने ये तक नहीं सोची कि उसके इस तरह चले जाने से परिवार पर क्या असर होगा।

अपने सपनों को साकार होते हुए देखना कितना सुखद होगा। यही सोचकर मनीषा घर से निकली थी। पुनीत ने कहा था हम कोर्ट मैरिज कर लेंगे। तो वो दोनों कोर्ट तक गए और थोड़ी देर यहां  वहां घूमाने के बाद पुनीत उसे अपने घर ले गया। जो उसने कुछ दिन पहले ही किराए पर लिया था।

               

मनीषा ने देखी उस घर में गिना चुना सामान था, शिव भगवान की एक फोटो थी। वहीं पुनीत ने मनीषा की मांग भर दिया और बोला अब तो तुम्हें मुझसे शिकायत नहीं है ना। आज से तुम मेरी पत्नी हो और ये घर तुम्हारा ही है। हम कल कोर्ट में भी शादी कर लेंगे।

पुनीत ने कल जायेंगे कल जायेंगे करते - करते एक महीने का समय निकाल दिया। अब मनीषा को सारे सपने झूठे लग रहे थे, खुद में उलझकर रह गई थी वो।

मनीषा आज सुबह जब सोकर उठी तो घर में पुनीत नहीं था। उसे लगा पुनीत यहीं कहीं होगा अभी आ जायेगा। लेकिन सुबह से शाम हो गई और पुनीत अब तक घर नहीं आया। मनीषा फोन लगा रही है तो नंबर भी बंद बता रहा है।

                      सारा दिन बेचैनी में बीता, जब मनीषा ने अपने बक्से में देखी तो पैसे और जेवर भी नही थे। मनीषा समझ गई कि पुनीत उसे छोड़कर भाग गया है।कभी भी पुनीत ने ये नही बताया था कि वो क्या करता है और कहां का रहने वाला है।

सुनहरे सपनों की उम्मीद उसने गलत व्यक्ति से की। अब सपनों का महल चकनाचूर हो गया था। बिना सोचे समझे लिए गए फैसले अक्सर गलत साबित होते हैं। दूसरे शहर जाने से मनीषा को एक दुकान पर काम मिल गया।

              

मनीषा की परेशानियां अब कुछ हद तक कम भी हो गई थी।लेकिन जो वो खो चुकी थी उसके लिए अफसोस में थी। अपनी गलती से ये सबक मिला उसको कि उसने अब किसी पर भी भरोसा करना छोड़ दी थी।

समय से काम पर जाना और घर आना। बस यही उसका प्रतिदिन का नियम था।एक दिन दुकान पर अचानक पुनीत आया बच्चों के कपड़े लेने। मनीषा उसे देखकर आश्चर्य के कारण कुछ बोल ना सकी। क्योंकि ये बच्चे पुनीत को पापा बुला रहे थे, बच्चे भी छोटे नही थे लड़की लगभग 15साल की और लड़का 12साल का।

               

पुनीत की पत्नी गहनों से लदी थी, उसके गले में मनीषा का हार भी था, जो पुनीत चुराकर ले गया था। बातों - बातों में पुनीत की पत्नी ने बताई कि उसका पति विदेश में काम करता है और साल में सिर्फ दो बार ही आता है।

वो ही उसके लिए ये गहने लाया है इस बार। मनीषा ने पुनीत की तरफ देखी तो उसने अपना सिर झुका लिया। मनीषा की हर उम्मीद आज खत्म हो चुकी थी।

          

             

क्योंकि मनीषा रोज यही उम्मीद करती थी कि शायद आज पुनीत का फोन आ जाए या हो सकता है वो खुद ही आ जाए। लेकिन आज सच उसके सामने आ गया और मनीषा के जीवन में उम्मीद जैसे शब्द की अहमियत खत्म हो गई हमेशा के लिए।

Today Manisha had gone to find work and then returned disappointed, she was not educated much, so she wanted to work in a shop. She is learning a new lesson every day in her life.

Falling in love with Puneet, Manisha left the house without thinking anything. Puneet used to make palaces of dreams just in words. Manisha used to believe all his words to be true and she too started living in the dream world.

Puneet convinced her to move in with him by luring her in marriage. Manisha did not even think that what would be the effect on the family if she left like this.

How wonderful to see our dreams come true. Thinking this, Manisha left the house. Puneet had said that we will do court marriage. So both of them went to the court and after roaming here and there for a while, Puneet took him to his house. Which he had rented only a few days ago.

           

 Manisha saw that there were selected items in that house, there was a photo of Lord Shiva. At the same time, Puneet accepted Manisha as his wife and said that now you do not have any complaint with me. From today you are my wife and this house is yours. We will also get married tomorrow in the court.

Just like this, Puneet will go tomorrow, he will go tomorrow, he will do it, he was taken a month's time. Now all the dreams seemed false to Manisha, she was left entangled in herself.

             

When Manisha woke up this morning, Puneet was not in the house. He felt that Puneet would be here somewhere and would come now. But it was morning till evening and Puneet still hasn't come home. If Manisha is calling the phone, then the number is also telling closed.

The whole day was spent in restlessness, when Manisha looked in her box, there was no money and jewellery. Manisha understood that Puneet had left her and ran away. Never had Puneet told what he does and where he is from.

She expected golden dreams from the wrong person. Now the palace of dreams was shattered. Decision made without thinking often turn out to be wrong. After moving to another city, Manisha got a job in a shop.

           

Manisha's troubles have now subsided to some extent. But she was in regret for what she had lost. She got this lesson from his mistake that she had stopped trusting anyone now.

Go to work and come home on time, that was his daily rule. One day Puneet suddenly came to the shop to get the clothes of the children. Manisha could not say anything due to surprise seeing him. Because these children were calling Puneet Papa, the children were not even small, the girl was about 15 years old and the boy was 12 years old.

          

Puneet's wife was laden with jewellery, she also had Manisha's necklace around her neck, which Puneet stole. In talks, Puneet's wife told that her husband works abroad and comes only twice a year.

          

He was brought this jewellery for her this time. When Manisha looked at Puneet, he bowed his head. Manisha's every hope was over today.

Because Manisha used to expect every day that maybe Puneet's call would come today, or maybe he would come himself. But today the truth come infront of her and the importance of a word like hope in Manisha's life was lost forever.
