बेबसी / Helplessness

हम इंसान अपने हर एहसास को व्यक्त कर सकते हैं। अपनी हर समस्या का हल भी निकाल सकते हैं हम। फिर भी कभी - कभी अपनी बेबसी को दोष देकर या वक्त को कोसकर अपनी कमजोरी को छिपाने की कोशिश करते हैं।

       

पशु पक्षी ऐसा नहीं करते। हमारे घर में गौरेया का एक जोड़ा रहता है। सुबह - सुबह उनकी चहचहाट से ही नींद खुलती है। जैसे वो कह रहे हैं उठो कब तक सोओगे। उनके मीठे स्वर मन को नई ऊर्जा से भर देते हैं।

उन नन्हें पक्षियों का संघर्ष मुझे हर मुसीबत से लड़ने का साहस देते हैं। कभी - कभी आपस में दोनों एक दूसरे को डांटते है तो कभी बहुत ही प्यार से रहते हैं।

           

मेरी चिड़िया को मैं लाली कहकर बुलाती हूं और चिड़ा को भोलू। लाली को जब गुस्सा आता है तो उसे देखकर ऐसा लगता है जैसे लाली गुस्से में लाल हो गई है, इसलिए उसे लाली नाम दी, और भोलू बिना कुछ कहे बस इधर उधर देखता है। बहुत ही भोला सा दिखता है वो, इसलिए उसे भोलू कहती हूं।

लाली और भोलू के घर नए मेहमान आने वाले हैं। भोलू लाली का बहुत ख्याल रखता है, दोनों मिलकर नए मेहमानों के आने का इंतजार कर रहे हैं। घोंसले को अकेला नहीं छोड़ते वो। जब लाली जाती है बाहर घूमने तब तक भोलू उन अंडो की देखभाल करता है और लाली तो अपना ज्यादातर समय घोंसले में ही रहती है।

नन्हें मेहमानों की आवाज एकदम पायल के घुंघरुओ के समान आती है। तभी पता चलता है कि लाली और भोलू मम्मी पापा बन गए हैं। अब भोलू को बहुत ज्यादा मेहनत करना है। काम से कम चार बच्चे हैं इनके। बारी - बारी से सबके लिए खाना लेकर आना है, और साथ ही लाली के लिए भी।

           

बच्चे बहुत शरारती हैं, इतना ज्यादा शोर करते हैं कि लाली उन्हें चुप कराते - कराते थक जाती है और कुछ देर के लिए बच्चों को अकेले छोड़ दिया है घोंसले में। लेकिन भोलू को बिल्कुल आराम नही मिलता। उसे पानी वाली जगह से छोटे कीड़े - मकोड़े लाने पड़ते हैं बच्चों के लिए। ताकि वो जल्दी बढ़े, और खुद अपने भोजन की व्यवस्था करें।

             

इन दिनों भोलू को जरूरत से ज्यादा मेहनत करना पड़ रहा है, वो इतना थक जाता है कि कुछ देर आराम करने के लिए किसी भी कोने में छिप जाता है। कभी - कभी तो भोलू चक्कर खाकर लड़खड़ाने लगता है। एक पिता का फ़र्ज़ बहुत अच्छे से निभाता है भोलू, बहुत प्यार करता है अपने परिवार से।

बच्चे अभी बहुत छोटे हैं, आपस में धक्का - मुक्की करने से एक बच्चा घोंसले से बाहर गिर गया। लाली ने देखी तो वो भोलू को लेकर आई, लेकिन दोनों ही बेबस थे। बच्चे को किसी भी तरह से वो उठा नही पा रहे थे। कभी इधर बैठते कभी उधर, लाली जोर - जोर से चिल्ला रही थी जैसे मदद के लिए पुकार रही हो।

          

तभी मेरी नज़र पड़ी कि एक बच्चा नीचे गिर गया, तो मैंने उसे उठाकर घोंसले में रख दी। लाली मेरे पास से उड़कर घोंसले से चली गई, जैसे मुझे धन्यवाद कहने आई हो। भोलू ने भी चैन की सांस ली और वो भी बच्चों के पास चला गया।

लाली और भोलू के बच्चे अब बड़े हो गए हैं और उड़ने का प्रयास करने लगे हैं। कुछ दिनों में बच्चे घोंसला छोड़कर चले जायेंगे और लाली और भोलू फिर अपने जीवन में संघर्ष करते हुए आगे बढ़ते रहेंगे।

हम अपनी बेबसी के आगे हर जाते हैं और कोशिश भी नहीं करना चाहते उस समय को बदलने की। लेकिन लाली की कोशिश से उसका बच्चा बच गया और अपनी जिन्दगी जी रहा होगा।

    " प्रयास करना ना छोड़ें, वक्त तो बदलेगा ही एक दिन।"

We humans can express our every feelings. We can also find a solution to all our problems. Still, sometimes we try to hide our weakness by blaming our helplessness or cursing time.

            

Animal and birds do not do this. There is a pair of sparrows living in our house. In the morning, his chirping awakens sleep. Like they are saying wake up, till how long will you sleep ? His sweet voice fills the mind with new energy. 

The struggle of those little birds gives me the courage to fight every trouble. Sometimes both of them scold each other and sometimes they live with a lot of love.

               

 I call my bird Lali and Bholu the bird. When Lali gets angry, seeing her, it seems as if Lali has turned red in anger, so she named him Lali, and Bholu just looks here and there without saying anything. He looks very naive, that's why I call him Bholu.

New guests are about to arrive at Lali and Bholu's house. Bholu takes great care of Lali. Together they await the arrival of new guests, they do not leave the nest alone. When Lali goes out to roam, Bholu takes care of those eggs and Lali spends most of her time in the nest.

            

The voice of the little guests sound just like anklets. Then it is know that Lali and Bholu have become Mummy Papa. Now bholu has to work very hard. They have at least four children. You have to bring food in turn for everyone, and also for Lali.

           

The children are very mischievous, make so much noise that, Lali gets tired of silencing them and leaves the children alone for a while in the nest. But bholu does not get any rest at all. He has to bring small insects from the place of water to the children. So that the children grow quickly and arrange their own food.

               

These days Bholu has to work extra hard, he gets so tired that he hides in any corner to take rest for some time. Sometimes Bholu starts staggering after getting dizzy. Bholu performs the duty of a father very well, loves his family very much.

The children are still very young, one child fell out of the nest due to pushing among themselves. When Lali saw it, she brought Bholu, but both were helpless. He could not lift the child in any way. Sometimes sitting here and there, Lali was screaming loudly, as if calling for help.

             

Then I saw that a child had fallen down, so I picked it up and kept it in the nest. Lali flew away from me and went to the nest, as if she had come to say thank you. Bholu also took a sigh of relief and he too went to the children.

Lali and Bholu's children are now grown up and trying to fly. In a few days, the babies will leave the nest and Lali and Bholu will again struggle to move forward in their lives.

We give up in front of our helplessness, do not even want to make an effort to change that time. But with Lali's efforts her child was saved and would be living his life. 

"Don't stop trying, time will change one day."
