विश्वास / Believe ( part ll )

कुछ देर प्रखर चुप रहा, फिर बोला ज़िंदगी में क्या रखा है नारायण मजे कर लो, और वैसे भी जूली के पास मेरे अलावा कोई नहीं जाता। मैं चाहता था कि तुम्हारी दोस्ती हो जाए जूली से। कुछ देर तक दोनो चुप रहे। नारायण  को ये सब गलत लग रहा था। 

            

परीक्षा का समय नजदीक था प्रखर बार बार नारायण से बोलता था चल मेरे साथ तू कुछ मत कर, दोस्ती कर ले जूली से। कल चलेंगे हम जूली का जन्मदिन है। जन्मदिन की बात सुनकर नारायण जाने को तैयार हो गया। केक काटने के बाद जूली तीनों के लिए ड्रिंक लेकर आई। इससे पहले नारायण ने कभी शराब को हाथ तक नहीं लगाया था। उसे जल्दी नशा हो गया, और नशे की हालत में नारायण को जूली ही संभाल रही थी, क्योंकि प्रखर ने ज्यादा ड्रिंक कर लिया था तो वो भी बेहोशी की हालत में पड़ा था। 

         

सुबह जब नारायण की नींद खुली तो उसके होश उड़ गए। क्योंकि उसके बगल में जूली सो रही थी। घबराकर नारायण बाहर आया तो देखा प्रखर तैयार बैठा है घर जाने के लिए। नारायण को परेशान देखकर बोला कुछ नहीं होता यार ये सिर्फ तुम्हारे साथ ही है। इसके पास और कोई नही आता, अब तुम बस इसके खर्चे पूरे करते रहो और ये तुम्हारी इच्छा पूरी करेगी। 

             

अब नारायण भी प्रखर की बातों का विश्वास करके जूली के पास आने जाने लगा और प्रखर के साथ मिलकर जूली, नारायण से मोटी रकम हड़पने लगी। नारायण इस सबसे अनजान था। प्रखर अब नारायण के साथ नहीं जाता था जूली के पास। 

नारायण जब भी जाता था जूली अकेली ही मिली उसे घर में। तो नारायण भी इस बात पर विश्वास कर बैठा कि जूली का किसी और से कोई संबंध नहीं है।

आजकल नारायण कुछ अस्वस्थ महसूस कर रहा है, लेकिन मौसम के बदलाव की वजह से स्वास्थ्य ठीक नहीं है, यही सोचकर नारायण ने डॉक्टर को नही दिखाया। लेकिन धीरे धीरे सेहत में गिरावट आने लगी तब प्रखर ही उसे अस्पताल ले गया। 

            

उसके खून की जांच हुई तब हैरान करने वाली रिपोर्ट सामने t। रिपोर्ट आने तक नारायण की हालत बहुत ज्यादा बिगड़ गई थी। उसका पूरा शरीर फूल गया था और किसी भी दवा का उस पर कोई असर नहीं हो रहा था।            

नारायण को एड्स हो गया था और उसके शरीर  में इस हद तक एड्स फैल चुका था कि अब कोई दवा उस पर असर नहीं कर रही थी। अंतिम सांसे गिन रहा नारायण प्रखर को इस तरह देख रहा था मानो उससे पूछ रहा हो कि दोस्त मैंने तो तुझे गलत रास्ते पर जाने से रोका था तो तूने मुझे क्यों गलत जगह पहुंचा दिया। क्यों मेरे विश्वास को तोड़ दिया तूने। 

            

नारायण ने दोस्त पर विश्वास करके सही किया या गलत ये मुझे नहीं पता। लेकिन किसी पर भी आंख बंद करके विश्वास करना आपको मुसीबत में डाल सकता है। 

नारायण के माता पिता का सपना नारायण के साथ ही खत्म हो गया। उनके विश्वास पर खरा नहीं उतरा नारायण। भारत सिर्फ नारायण का पार्थिव शरीर आया। ना वो प्रखर की बातों में आता और ना एड्स से उसकी जान जाती।

Prakhar remained silent for some time, then said, what is there in life, Narayan, have fun, and anyway, no one goes to Julie except me. I wanted you to be friends with Julie. For some time both remained silent. Narayan felt all this wrong. 

            

The time of examination was near, Prakhar used to repeatedly speak to Narayan, come on don't do anything, just make friends with Julie. We will go tomorrow, it is Julie's birthday. Hearing about his birthday, Narayan agreed to leave. After cutting the cake, Julie brought drinks for all three. Before this Narayan had never even touched alcohol. He got intoxicated quickly, and Julie was taking care of Narayan in a state of intoxication because prakhar had drunk too much, he was also in a state of unconsciousness.

            

When Narayan woke up in the morning, his senses were blown away. Because Julie was sleeping next to him. When Narayan came out frightened, he saw Prakhar sitting ready to go home. Seeing Narayan upset, he said nothing happens, man, it is only with you. No one else comes to it, now you just keep on meeting it's expenses and it will fulfill your wish. 

             

Now Narayan also believed Prakhar's words and started coming to Julie, and Julie along with Prakhar, started grabbing huge amount from Narayan. Narayan was unware of this. Prakhar no longer went with Narayan to Julie.

Whenever Narayan used to go, Julie was found along in her house. So Narayan also believed that Julie has no relation with anyone else.

Now - a - day Narayan is feeling a little unwell. But because of the change in weather, the health is not good, thinking that Narayan did not show the doctor. But slowly his health started deteriorating, then Prakhar took him to the hospital.

          

When his blood was tested, a shocking report came out. By the time the report came, Narayan's condition had deteriorated very much. His whole body was swollen and no medicine was having any effect on him. 

Narayan had got AIDS and AIDS had spread in his body to such an extent that now no medicine was counting his last breaths, was looking at Prakhar as if asking him that friend, I had caused you to go on the wrong path, then why did you take me to the wrong place. Why did you break my trust? 

            

I do not know whether Narayan did right or wrong by trusting a friend. But blindly trusting anyone can get you in trouble.

The dream of Narayan's parents ended with Narayan. Narayan did not live up to his belief. Only the mortal remains of Narayan came to India. Neither did he get into the intense talk nor would he have died due to AIDS.
