दिव्या लाल जोड़े में सजकर तैयार हो गई। मां अरुणिमा अपनी बेटी के प्रतिबिंब को देखकर उस समय की यादों में खो गई जब वो खुद दुल्हन बनी थी।

आज से 22 साल पहले अरुणिमा का विवाह हुआ था। उसकी मौसी की लड़की पूजा अपने देवर नवीन के लिए अरुणिमा का हाथ मांगने आई थी। अच्छा घर है ये सोचकर अरुणिमा के माता-पिता ने कोई जांच पड़ताल नही की। वैसे भी सुंदरवन सिर्फ नाम से ही सुंदर है। वहां जीवन इतना आसान नहीं है, पग - पग पर मुश्किलें है। इतना अधिक संघर्ष है कि जब किसी का अच्छे घर में रिश्ता होता है तो गांव वाले उसे नसीब वाली समझते हैं। उसको सभी सम्मान देते हैं कि अब शादी हो जायेगी बड़े घर में जाओगी तो हमें भूल मत जाना। अरुणिमा का परिवार निश्चिंत था, बेटी के भविष्य के लिए। अरुणिमा तीन भाईयों की इकलौती बहन थी, घर में भाभियों से और मां से सभी से उसे बहुत लाड़ दुलार मिलता था। इकलौती थी तो घर में उसी का हुकुम चलता था कोई छोटी बहन को काम बता दे तो उसकी शामत आ जाती थी। इसी वजह से अरुणिमा कोई काम करना नहीं सीख पाई थी। सुंदरवन में उस समय ज्यादा बड़ा स्कूल भी नहीं था तो बस 8 वीं तक ही पढ़ाई कर पाई थी। उसका बचपना अब भी नहीं गया था। कोई कुछ बोल देता था तो आकर मां की गोद में मुंह छिपाकर रोने लगती थी। मां समझाती थी तुम कब तक बच्ची बनी रहोगी, अब तुम्हारी शादी होने वाली है। ससुराल में ऐसी हरकतें मत करना अब रसोई का कुछ काम सीखो अपनी भाभी से। तब वो मां को बोल देती थी कि मुझे वहां काम करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। इतने बड़े घर में ब्याह हो रहा है क्या वो लोग मुझे काम करवाने ले जायेंगे। मां भी हंस देती थी, तू कब बड़ी होगी अरुणिमा ! अब वो दिन भी आ गया जब दरवाजे पर बारात खड़ी थी। स्वागत सत्कार के बाद विवाह की रस्में संपन्न हुई और अरुणिमा अपनी ससुराल पहुंची।

यहां अरुणिमा की जेठानी पूजा जो उसकी मौसेरी बहन भी थी, उनका बहुत ख्याल रख रही थी। अरुणिमा खुश थी उसे लगा यहां बहन है मेरे साथ तो मुझे ससुराल में भी कोई परेशानी नहीं आयेगी। लेकिन पूजा अरुणिमा का नहीं अरुणिमा के पति नवीन का ध्यान रख रही थी। पूजा का पति मछली का व्यापार करता था और ज्यादा समय वो शहर से बाहर ही रहता था। इसलिए पूजा ने नवीन को अपनी सुन्दरता के जाल में फंसा ली।

अरुणिमा पहली बार जब मायके आई तो संकोच के कारण किसी को कुछ बता ना सकी। मां ने पूछी पूजा ख्याल तो रखती है ना तुम्हारा तब अरुणिमा बोली वो तो सभी को संभाल रही है। मां को अरुणिमा की बात कुछ अजीब लगी। यहां अरुणिमा कुछ अनमानी सी रही। सबको लगा नई - नई शादी है, शायद अब अरुणिमा को अपने ससुराल जाना है। भाभियों ने छेड़ी भी क्या बात है नवीन की याद आ रही है क्या ? अरुणिमा ने शर्माते हुए बोली क्या भाभी आप भी, और वहां से दूसरे कमरे में चली गई। तभी पूजा का फोन आ गया कि अरुणिमा को तैयार रखना कल उसे लेने आ रहे हैं हम। सुबह - सुबह ही पूजा आ गई नवीन के साथ, अरुणिमा को ले जाने। इस बार अरुणिमा ज्यादा रो रही थी सब सोच रहे थे कि मां से दूर जाने का दुःख है शायद उसे। क्योंकि सच तो सिर्फ अरुणिमा ही जानती थी। लेकिन मां चिंतित थी क्योंकि वो अपनी बेटी को जानती थी कि कोई बात जरूर है जो अरुणिमा बता नहीं पाई। उनके जाने के बाद मां ने ये बात बेटों और बहुओं को भी बताई। लेकिन सबने मां को समझाए कि आप निश्चिंत रहो मां, वहां पूजा है अरुणिमा का ख्याल रखने के लिए।

अरुणिमा को ससुराल का माहौल कुछ अच्छा नहीं लग रहा था, क्योंकि पूजा और नवीन सारा दिन कमरे के अंदर ही रहते थे। अरुणिमा ये जान चुकी थी कि ये शादी सिर्फ दिखावे के लिए करवाई गई है ताकि कोई पूजा के चरित्र पर संदेह ना करें। लेकिन सच को कब तक छिपाओगे।

अरुणिमा अपने गरीब माता - पिता की इज्जत का ख्याल करके चुपचाप सब सह रही थी। लेकिन एक दिन जब पूजा और नवीन कमरे में थे और अरुणिमा रसोई में खाना बना रही थी तभी बिना कोई पूर्व सूचना के पूजा का पति आलोक अचानक घर आ गया। पूजा को नवीन की बाहों में देखकर आलोक हैरान था।😳😳 अरुणिमा के साथ क्या हुआ आगे जानने के लिए अगला अंक जरूर पढ़ें ......

Arunima got married 22 years back. His aunt's daughter Pooja had come to ask for Arunima's hand for her brother - in - law Naveen. Thinking that it is a good house. When someone used to say something,she used to come and cry hiding her face in mother's lap. Mother used to explain how long you will remain a child, now you are about to get married. Don't do such things in your in - laws house, now learn some kitchen work from your sister - in - law. Then she used to tell her mother that I would not need to work there. Marriage is happening in such a big house, will those people take me to get the work done.
