रघुनाथ और जानकी के विवाह को सात वर्ष हो गए हैं लेकिन अब तक उन्हें संतान का मुख देखने का सुख नही मिला है। कितनी ही मन्नते कर ली हैं दोनो ने। जिसने जहां बताया रघुनाथ वहां गया कि उसको एक वारिस मिल जाए, लेकिन पता नहीं किस्मत में क्या कमी थी।

ऐसे ही मंदिरों के चक्कर काटते - काटते उन्हें दस वर्ष बीत गए। अब जानकी निराश हो गई उसमें अब हीनभावना आने लगी क्योंकि इधर उधर से अक्सर वो सुनती थी कि जानकी बांझ है उसे अब कोई संतान नहीं होगी। लेकिन वक्त हमारे हिसाब से नही चलता। हमारे किसी भी सवाल का जवाब वक्त कब और कैसे देगा ये वही तय करता है। ऐसा ही जानकी के साथ हुआ, संतान प्राप्ति के लिए अंतिम प्रयास के रूप में घर में हवन पूजन का आयोजन किया गया। अनुष्ठान में पूरे गांव को बुलाया गया। रघुनाथ उस गांव का जमींदार था तो आस पास के गांवों में भी निमंत्रण भेजा गया था। पूरे विधि विधान से अनुष्ठान संपन्न हुआ और सभी ने जानकी को आशीर्वाद दिए कि भगवान तुम्हें हमारे नए जमींदार की मां बनने का सुख दे।

इतने लोगों की विनती भगवान अनसुना ना कर सके। सच में जानकी को अनुष्ठान का आशीर्वाद फलित हुआ और वो गर्भवती हो गई। हर वक्त जानकी की सेवा में कोई न कोई उपस्थित रहता। विवाह के दस सालों बाद घर में बच्चे की किलकारी सुनने के लिए पूरा परिवार उस दिन की प्रतीक्षा करने लगा जिस दिन बच्चा इस दुनिया में आएगा।

डॉक्टर की जांच में अब तक सब ठीक था, जानकी को कोई भी परेशानी नहीं थी। प्रसव में कोई कठिनाई ना हो इसलिए जानकी छोटा मोटा काम करती रहती थी। एक दिन घर में किसी काम के दौरान जानकी फिसलकर गिर गई और उसे तुरंत अस्पताल में भर्ती कराना पड़ा। जानकी ने समय से पहले ही बच्चे को जन्म दी। कुछ दिनों की गहन देखरेख के बाद बच्चे के साथ जानकी घर आई। घर में किसी उत्सव सा माहौल था।सबसे ज्यादा खुश रघुनाथ था, उसका सपना सच हो गया था। वो एक प्यारे से बेटे का पिता बन गया था, रघुनाथ ने अपने बेटे का नाम हीरा रखा।

बहुत लाड़ प्यार से हीरा का लालन - पालन हो रहा था। लेकिन ज्यादा लाड़ प्यार बच्चे को बिगाड़ देता है ये भी सच है। हीरा अब बड़ा हो रहा था लेकिन उसकी बदमिजाजी बहुत बढ़ रही थी। ये बात जानकी को बहुत परेशान करती थी। उसे ये चिंता होने लगी कि हीरा अपने पिता के रूतबे का गलत फायदा ना उठाने लगे। क्योंकि अक्सर हीरा की शिकायते आती थी कि हीरा बच्चों को ही नही अब बड़ों को भी परेशान करने लगा है। हीरा की हरकतों से चिढ़कर जानकी उसे कभी - कभी कह देती थी कि तू काला हीरा है। हमारे खानदान का नाम डूबाएगा तू। मैं तो बांझ ही अच्छी थी। इन बातों को सुनकर हीरा जोर जोर से हंसता था। ये देखकर जानकी उस पर और खीझ जाती थी। रघुनाथ से इस विषय पर बात करने का कोई फायदा नहीं था क्योंकि हीरा को बिगाड़ने का श्रेय रघुनाथ को ही था। रघुनाथ हमेशा हीरा को यही बताता था कि तुम राजा हो इस गांव के। तुम्हें किसी से डरने की जरूरत नहीं है।

उद्दंड हीरा पिता की शह पाकर खराब आदतों में पड़ गया। हीरा पंद्रह साल का हो गया उसका जन्मदिन बहुत धूमधाम से मनाया गया और बेटे के प्यार में अंधा रघुनाथ हीरा के लिए जन्मदिन के उपहार स्वरूप पिस्तौल लेकर आया और हीरा को भेंट दी। जानकी इस बात से बहुत नाराज थी कि रघुनाथ ये जानते हैं कि हीरा कितना उद्दंड हो गया है उसके बाद भी उसे उपहार में पिस्तौल दे दिए। जानकी अब बहुत दुखी रहने लगी। इतनी मन्नतों के बाद उन्हें संतान सुख प्राप्त हुआ लेकिन वो भी ऐसा उद्दंड होगा ये नही सोची थी। हीरा से परेशान होकर गांव के लोग जब जमींदार के पास आते शिकायत लेकर तो रघुनाथ गर्व से कहता जमींदार का बेटा है ऐसे ही तो सीखेगा राज करना। गांव वाले चुपचाप चले जाते थे। बात यहीं खत्म नहीं होती थी, अब हीरा अपने आपको ब्लैक डायमंड कहता था और आस पास के गांवों में अपनी धाक जमाने के लिए वहां भी लड़ाई झगड़े, मार पिटाई करने लगा।

हीरा अपनी हरकतों से आस पास के गांव में भी चर्चित हो गया। दुश्मनियां बढ़ने लगी, अब रघुनाथ को भी पछतावा होने लगा कि उसने समय पर हीरा की बदमाशियों पर अंकुश ना लगाकर ठीक नहीं किया। लेकिन अब गलतियों पर अफसोस करने के अलावा कुछ नहीं था। बढ़ती दुश्मनियों ने हीरा को गुनाहों की दुनिया का ब्लैक डायमंड बना दिया। ब्लैक डायमंड गुनाहों की दुनिया से कैसे बाहर आया जानने के लिए अगला अंक जरूर पढ़ें ..........

It has been seven years since the marriage of Raghunath and Janaki, but till now they have not got the pleasure of seeing the face of the child. Both have made so many wishes. Whoever told Raghunath went there to find an heir, but don't know what was lacking in luck.

Ten years passed by going round the temples like this. Now Janaki is disheartened and now inferiority complex has started coming in her because the often used to hear from here and there that Janaki is barren, she will not have any child now. But time does not run according to us. He decides when and how time will answer any of our questions. The same happened with Janaki, as a last effort to get a child, Havan Pujan was organized at home. The whole village was called in the ritual. Raghunath was the landlord of the village, so invitations were sent to nearby villages as well. The rituals were completed and everyone blessed Janaki that God bless you to be the mother of our new landlord.

God could not ignore the request of so many people. In truth Janaki was blessed with the ritual and she became pregnant. At all times someone or the other was present in the service of Janaki. After ten years of marriage, the whole family started waiting for the day when the child would come into this world to hear the cry of the child in the house.

Till now everything was fine in the doctor's examination. Janaki had no problem. Janaki used to do odd jobs so that there was no difficulty in delivery. One day while doing some work at home, Janaki slipped and fell and had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. Janaki gave birth to a child prematurely. After a few days of intensive care, Janaki came home with the child. There was a festive atmosphere in the house. Raghunath was most happy, his dream had come true. He had become the father of a lovely son, Raghunath named his son Heera.

Heera was being brought up with lots of love. But too much pampering spoils the child, this is also true. Heera was now growing up but his rudeness was increasing a lot. This thing used to bother Janaki a lot. She began to worry that Heera should not take advantage of his father's position. Because Heera's complaints used to come often that Heera has started troubling not only the children but also the elders. Annoyed with Heera's antics, Janaki used to tell him sometimes that you a black diamond. You will drown the name of our family. I was good infertile. Heera used to laugh out loud after hearing these things. Seeing this, Janaki used to get more annoyed with him. The defiant Heera got into bad habits after getting the instigation of his father. When Heera turned fifteen, his birthday was celebrated with great fanfare and Raghunath, blind in love with his son, brought a pistol as a birthday present for Heera and presented it to Heera. Janaki was very angry that Raghunath, knowing how insolent Heera had become, still gifted him a pistol. Janaki started feeling very sad now. After so many wishes she got the happiness of having a child, but she also did not think that he would be so rude. Troubled by the Heera, when the people of the village came to the landlord with complaints Raghunath proudly said that he is the son of the landlord, so he will learn to rule like this. The villagers used to leave silently. The matter did not end here, now Heera used to call himself Black Diamond and started fighting in the nearby villages to establish his power.

Heera also became famous in the nearby villages due to his antics. Enmities started increasing, now Raghunath also started regretting that he did not correct Heera's mischief by not curbing it on time. But now there was nothing axcept regretting the mistakes.
