वैदेही के अचानक तलाक के फैसले पर सभी अचंभित थे। अनिरुद्ध और वैदेही की शादी को दस साल हो चुके थे। इन दस सालों में कभी भी अनिरुद्ध और वैदेही की लड़ाई नहीं हुयी थी। 

           

क्या कारण था कि वैदेही ने ना खुद के लिए कुछ सोची और न अपने बच्चों के लिए। उनके दो बच्चे थे बेटी तनिशा और बेटा विनय। विनय अभी मात्र ढाई साल का था।

अनिरुद्ध अपनी व्यस्त जीवनशैली के कारण परिवार को ज़्यादा समय नहीं दे पाता था। प्राइवेट कंपनी में मैनेजर के पद पर कार्यरत था वो। हमेशा कोई न कोई मीटिंग या सेमिनार के चलते वो देर रात घर आता और सुबह भी जल्दी ही चला जाता था। 

              

वैदेही जब भी बोलती थी , हम लोगों के लिए तो आपके पास समय ही नहीं है। तब अनिरुद्ध बोलता था कि मैं ये सब तूम लोगों के लिए ही तो कर रहा हूं, ताकि तुम सुख से रहो। हमारे बच्चों को किसी प्रकार की परेशानी ना हो। इसके बाद कुछ भी बोलने की जगह नहीं थी।

वैदेही अपने काम में लग गई और अनिरुद्ध भी अपने काम पर जा चूका था। जल्दी जाने के चक्कर में अपना मोबाइल घर पर ही भूल गया और तब ही मोबाइल पर कोई फोन आ गया, वैदेही को लगा शायद ऑफिस से फोन होगा। 

            

फोन रिसीव करने पर वैदेही कुछ बोलती उससे पहले ही उधर से आवाज़ आयी हेलो ! मैं डॉक्टर सोनाली बोल रही हूं, आपकी पत्नी का अब गर्भपात नहीं हो सकता क्योंकि उसे तीन महीने से ज़्यादा का गर्भ है और आप पहले ही दो बार गर्भपात करवा चुके हैं उनका। अब उनकी जान को खतरा हो सकता है और ये भी हो सकता है कि शायद इसके बाद वो माँ ना बन सके।

ये सब सुनकर वैदेही सन्न रह गई। कौन है जिसे अपनी पत्नी बताकर अनिरुद्ध डॉक्टर के पास ले गया। वैदेही ने अनिरुद्ध से नहीं पूछी , लेकिन डॉक्टर को ही पूछ ली कि उनकी पत्नी का क्या नाम है। डॉक्टर ने बताई कि उनकी पत्नी का नाम साक्षी है।

बात खत्म हुई तब तक अनिरुद्ध भी वापस आ गया था अपना मोबाइल लेने। वैदेही ने पूछी ये साक्षी कौन है ? तीखे स्वर में किया गया प्रश्न अनिरुद्ध को तीर सा प्रतीत हुआ। अब कुछ भी कहना बेकार था, क्योंकि अब कोई बहाना काम नहीं आने वाला था। 

           

इतना सब जानने के बाद अब वैदेही एक पल भी अनिरुद्ध के साथ रहना नहीं चाहती थी। अनिरुद्ध के द्वारा दिए गए धोखे को गलती नहीं मान सकते थे, क्योंकि अनिरुद्ध तो पहले भी दो बार उस लड़की का गर्भपात करवा चुका था। वैदेही बस ये जानना चाहती थी कि क्या वो लड़की ये जानती है कि तुम विवाहित हो और तुम्हारे दो बच्चे हैं।

अनिरुद्ध ने जो बताया उसे सुनकर अब वैदेही गुस्से से लाल हो गई। कैसे कोई आदमी इस तरह से खुद को निर्दोष बोल सकता है। अनिरुद्ध की जब सहकर्मी साक्षी से नजदीकियां बढ़ने लगी तो साक्षी ने उसे पूछी कि क्या तुम विवाहित हो, तब अनिरुद्ध बोला यदि मैं विवाहित होता तो तुमसे प्यार क्यों करता। हम दोनों शादी करके अपना जीवन जियेंगे साथ में।

          

 यहाँ गलती साक्षी की नहीं थी अनिरुद्ध ने उसे सच नहीं बताया और उसे अपने में उलझाये रखा। शादी का लालच देकर झूठे सपने दिखाकर अपनी हवस पूरी करता रहा। प्यार के नाम पर साक्षी के विश्वास को ठगा है अनिरुद्ध ने, और उसके बाद खुद को निर्दोष साबित करना चाहता है।

वैदेही घर छोड़कर जा रही थी, जाते समय अनिरुद्ध को बस यही बोली कि अब किसी और को धोखा मत देना।

Everyone was take aback by Vaidehi's sudden dicision of divorce. Anirudh and Vaidehi had been married for ten years. Anirudh and Vaidehi never had a fight in these ten years. 

           

What was the reason that Vaidehi did not think anything for herself nor for her children. They had two children, daughter Tanisha and son Vinay. Vinay was just two and a half years old. 

           

Anirudh was not able to devote much time to the family due to his busy lifestyle. He was working as a manager in a private company. Always due to some meeting or seminar, he used to come home late at night and leave early in the morning.

Whenever Vaidehi used to speak, you have to no time for us. Then Anirudh used to say that I am doing all this for you only, so that you can live happily. Our children should not face any kind of trouble. After that there was no place to say anything.

Vaidehi got busy with her work and Anirudh too had gone to work. In the rush to leave, he forgot his mobile at home and only then a call came on the mobile, Vaidehi thought that maybe there would be a call from the office. 

                

On receiving the phone, before Vaidehi could say anything, a voice came from there, Hello ! I am speaking doctor Sonali, your wife cannot have an abortion because she is pregnant for more than three months. You've already had two abortions. Now her life maybe in danger and it may also happen that after this she may not be able to become a mother.

Vaidehi was stunned on hearing all this. Who is it whom Anirudh took to the doctor by telling his wife. Vaidehi did not ask Anirudh but asked the doctor what is the name of his wife. The doctor told that his wife's name is Sakshi. 

By the time the talk was over. Anirudh also came back to pick up his mobile. Vaidehi asked who is this Sakshi ? The question asked in a sharp voice seemed like an arrow to Anirudh. It was useless to say anything now, because no excuse was going to work.

After knowing all this, now Vaidehi did not want to be with Anirudh even for a moment. Anirudh could not accept the deception given by him, because Anirudh had already aborted that girl twice before, Vaidehi just wanted to know if that girl knows that you are married and you have two children. 

          

Hearing what Anirudh told, Vaidehi now turned red with anger. How can a man call himself innocent like this ? When Anirudh's closeness with colleague Sakshi started increasing, Sakshi asked him if you are married then Anirudh said if I was married then why would I love you. We both will get married and live our life together. 

         

Here Sakshi was not at fault, Anirudh did not tell her the truth and kept her entangled in him. By giving the lure of marriage, he kept fulfilling his lust by showing false dreams. Sakshi trust is betrayed by Anirudh in the name of love, and then wants to prove his innocence.

                      Vaidehi was leaving the house, while leaving, only said to Anirudh that now do not cheat anyone else.
