बांट लेंगे हम आधा - आधा / We'll split it in half ( Part - ll )

ओम अपने हर उस वचन को भूल गए थे जो उन्होंने उमा से किए थे। आज उमा की परेशानी बांटने वाला कोई नहीं है , वो अकेली अपने हर कठिन समय को बच्चों के साथ जी रही थी। बच्चे भी अपनी किसी जरूरत के लिए पिता से कुछ नही कहते थे। बच्चों ने अपनी इच्छाओं को खत्म करना सीख लिए और जरूरतों को बहुत सीमित कर लिए। उमा अपने बच्चों की ऐसी हालत देखकर बहुत दुखी रहने लगी।

ओम अब काम का बहाना करके 15 - 15 दिनों तक घर से बाहर रहने लगे। उमा इस बात को समझ गई कि ओम किसी दूसरी औरत के पास जाने लगे हैं। अपनी व्यथा किससे कहे उमा, वो बच्चो को लेकर अपनी मां के पास चली जाती थी, ताकि बच्चों को भरपेट खाना मिल सके। ऐसे ही उमा ने बच्चो को जैसे तैसे बड़ा की और बेटी अब विवाह योग्य हो गई। ओम का इस ओर कोई ध्यान नहीं था। गरीबी से जूझती उमा ये नहीं सोच पा रही थी कि आखिर उसकी बेटी की शादी कैसे होगी। बेटी बहुत सुंदर थी तो उसका रिश्ता अच्छे घर में तय हो गय। लेकिन उमा की परिस्थिति तो ऐसी भी नही थी कि वो बेटी के लिए कुछ दहेज का सामान ले पाती या दस मेहमानों का स्वागत सत्कार कर पाती ठीक से। फिर भी अपनी बेटी की खुशी का ख्याल उमा को बेचैन कर रहा था।

अच्छा रिश्ता उमा अपने हाथ से जाने नहीं देना चाहती थी। रिश्ता छूट ना जाए इसलिए उमा ने अपनी परिस्थिति को खुलकर बताना ठीक समझी। उमा ने गरीबी में अपनी बेटी को दो साड़ी में विदा की। लेकिन कहते है न कि बेटी की किस्मत मां से अलग नहीं होती। वही हुआ उमा की बेटी के साथ। जिसके साथ उमा ने अपनी बेटी ब्याही थी वो भी आवारा ही था। किसी काम में उसका मन नहीं लगता था, इसलिए उसकी शादी करवा दिए ताकि वो काम काज पर ध्यान दे। ख़ैर ! जिंदगी में कभी सुख और कभी दुख देखते हुए उमा आगे बढ़ रही थी। अभी बेटी के ब्याह को एक वर्ष ही बीता था कि बड़े बेटे ने अपनी बात रख दी माता पिता के सामने कि उसे एक लड़की से प्रेम है और वो उससे ब्याह करना चाहता है।

उमा समझ गई कि यदि बेटे की शादी में देर की तो ये कोई दूसरा कदम उठा लेगा। उमा ने ओम से विचार विमर्श की और बड़े बेटे की शादी उसकी पसंद की लड़की से करवा दिए। यहां भी उमा को निराशा ही मिली क्योंकि बेटा शादी के बाद जैसे तैसे एक माह ही रहा साथ में। वो अपनी पत्नी को लेकर अलग रहने लगा ये कहकर कि मेरी पत्नी से इतने लोगों का काम नहीं होता।

इन बातों से ओम को भी धक्का लगा और अब ओम घर परिवार को समय देने लगे। छोटा बेटा भी अब विवाह योग्य हो गया है, उसके लिए अच्छी लड़की की तलाश में ओम यहां वहां भटकने लगे। इस बार ओम और उमा ने तय किए कि वे छोटे बेटे के लिए दूसरे जाति की भी लड़की स्वीकार करेंगे यदि वो उनके मन मुताबिक रही।

लेकिन कभी किसी को मन मुताबिक कुछ नहीं मिलता। तो यहां भी कुछ कुछ वैसा ही हुआ, उमा को एक प्यारी बहू तो मिली लेकिन उमा उसे दिल से स्वीकार नहीं कर पा रही थी क्योंकि उनकी छोटी बहू अनामिका राजपूत थी। सर्वगुण सम्पन्न अनामिका ने जल्दी ही पूरे परिवार में अपने अच्छे व्यवहार के कारण एक अलग पहचान पा ली। पूरे समाज में ओम की छोटी बहू (लाड़ी) की बहुत तारीफें होती। अब उमा भी अनामिका में अपनी बेटी को देखने लगी। दोनों सास बहू मां और बेटी की तरह रहने लगी। उमा कोई भी काम अनामिका से सलाह लिए बगैर नहीं करती अब ओम भी अपने बेटे बहू के साथ सुकून से रह रहे थे। उमा ने भी उन दिनों को भूला दी जिनमें ओम ने उमा की आंखों में आंसू और जिंदगी को मुसीबतों से भर दिए थे। आगे क्या हुआ जानने के लिए अगला अंक जरूर पढ़ें ☺️

Even the children did not say anything to their needs. Children have learned to put an end to their wants and limit their needs to a great extent. Uma was very sad to see the condition of her children.

Om now started staying out of the house for 15, 15 days on the pretext of work. Uma understood that Om had started seeing another woman. To whom would Uma tell her sorrow, she used to take the children and go to her mother, so that the children could get enough food. Similarly Uma brought up the children in the same way and the daughter is now marriageable. Om had no attention towards this. Struggling with poverty. Uma could not imagine how her daughter would get married. The daughter was very beautiful, so her relationship was fixed in a good house. She could get some dowry for her daughter or welcome ten guests properly. Still, the thought of her daughter's happiness was troubling Uma

Uma did not want to let go of the good relationship. Uma thought it right to tell her situation openly so that the relationship foes not go away. Uma sent her daughter off in two sarees in poverty. But it is said that the fate of the daughter is no different from that of the mother. The same happened with Uma's daughter. The one with whom Uma married her daughter was also a vagabond. He didn't feel like doing any work, so got him married so that he could concentrate on his work. Well ! Seeing sometimes happiness and sometimes sorrow in life, Uma was moving forward. Just a year had passed since the daughter's marriage that the elder son told his parents that he was in love with a girl and wanted to marry her.

Uma understood that if he delayed his son's marriage, he would take some other step. Uma consults with Om and gets the elder son married to a girl of his choice. Here also Uma was disappointed because the son remained with her for only a month after marriage. He started living separately with his wife, saying that my wife does not work for so many people.

Om was also shocked by these things and now Om started giving time to his family. The younger son is also now marriageable, and Om wanders here and there in search of suitable girl for him. This time Om and Uma decided that they would accept a girl from another caste for the younger son as long as she was of their choice.

But sometimes one does not get anything according to one's wish. So something similar happened here too, Uma got a lovely daughter - in -. law but Uma was not able to accept her heartily because her younger daughter -in - law Anamika was Rajput. The all rounder, Anamika soon gained a different identity on the whole family because of her good behaviour. Om's younger daughter - in - law would have been praised a lot in the whole society. Now Uma also started seeing her daughter in Anamika. Both mother - in - law and daughter - in - law started living like mother and daughter. Uma does not do any work without consulting Anamika, now Om was also living peacefully with his son and daughter-in-law.
