बोझ / Burden ( Part - ll )

जबकि वो तो फातिमा की कोई मदद नहीं कर रहा था बच्चों की देखरेख में। अनीस के बदलते व्यवहार ने फातिमा के ज़हन में शक के बीज डाल दिए थे। अब वो बच्चों से ज्यादा अनीस पर ध्यान देने लगी थी। लेकिन अब तक ऐसा कुछ नज़र नहीं आया था जिससे शक मजबूत हो।

यहां तक सब सामान्य नज़र आ रहा था। लेकिन जहां अनीस बार बार घर आता था वहीं शहनाज उसके आते ही या तो घर से बाहर निकल जाती थी या बच्चों को पास बुला लेती थी। फातिमा शहनाज के लिए चिंतित थी, कि ऐसा क्या हो रहा है जो मेरी नजरों से चूक रहा है। उसे अपने अपाहिज होने पर चिढ़ होने लगती थी। क्योंकि फातिमा को लगता था कि उसकी वजह से आज शहनाज ये मुसीबत झेल रही है। कल रात फातिमा ठीक से सो नहीं सकी, इसलिए झपकी लग गई अनीसअब आए उसे पता ही नहीं चला। लेकिन उसे ऐसा लगा जैसे पास ही अनीस शहनाज की बेटी से कह रहे हैं कि मुझे पापा कहकर बुलाओ। इतना सुनते ही फातिमा की नींद खुल गई और अनीस ये बात सच में बोल रहे थे। फातिमा बिना हरकत किए आंख बंद करके पड़ी रही, आज उसे अनीस का सच जानना ही था।

अनीस अब रसोई की तरफ बढ़ा और तभी रसोई में कोई बर्तन गिरने की तेज आवाज आई और शहनाज घर से बाहर निकल गई। अब तक फातिमा भी उठकर बैठ गई थी। फातिमा अनीस पर चिल्लाने लगी कि तुम्हारी ये बदतमीजियां पता नहीं कब से बाजी चुपचाप सह रही थी मेरी खातिर। फातिमा की आवाज़ सुनकर अनीस हड़बड़ा गया और बोलने लगा मैं तो पानी पीने गया था रसोई में। तुम्हारी बहन ही मुझ पर दबाव डाल रही है दूसरे निकाह के लिए। दरवाजे की आड़ में खड़ी शहनाज भी ये सब सुन रही थी, आंसू पोंछती हुई शहनाज अंदर आई और फातिमा से कहने लगी मुझ पर यकीन रखना बहन मैने ऐसा कुछ नहीं कहा अनीस से। फातिमा अब पलंग से नीचे उतरने की कोशिश में लड़खड़ा गई तो दौड़कर शहनाज ने सहारा दी। अनीस को ये देखकर बहुत आश्चर्य हुआ कि शहनाज फातिमा का इतना ख्याल रख रही है। फातिमा बोली तुम्हे मै बोझ लगती हूं और तुम मुझसे हर सूरतेहाल में छुटकारा पाना चाहते हो।

ऐसे बुरे दौर में शहनाज बाज़ी मेरा हौसला बढ़ाती हैं और मुझे आगे बढ़ने के लिए कठिन समय से लड़ना सिखाती है। उसकी नेक सीख ने आज मुझे ये हिम्मत दी कि मैं अपने बच्चों को अकेली भी पाल सकती हूं। तुम मुझसे वास्ता रखो या मत रखो लेकिन मैं और मेरे बच्चों का आज से तुमसे कोई वास्ता नहीं। अब अनीस शहनाज और फातिमा से माफी मांगने लगा लेकिन किसी भी हाल में फातिमा अनीस को साथ रखने को तैयार नहीं थी। अपने बच्चों को अकेले ही पालने का हौसला था उसमे, भले ही उसके पैर ठीक नहीं हो सके थे लेकिन फिर भी बड़े बेटे के साथ मिलकर फातिमा घर से ही कपड़े सिलकर बेचने लगी। अब अनवर को घर का बोझ अकेले नहीं ढोना था, मां के साथ काम करने से उसे भी थोड़ा सुकून मिला। मां बेटा मिलकर ज्यादा से ज्यादा काम कर रहे हैं क्योंकि दो दिन बाद ईद - अल - अधा है जिसमें उन्हें बहुत खर्च करना है। ईद के दिन दरवाजे पर खटखटाने की आवाज सुन फातिमा बोली कौन है, अंदर आ जाओ देखी तो अनीस आया हुआ था।

फातिमा ने मुंह फेर ली और बेटे अनवर से बोली आज ईद है इन्हे कुछ खैरात दे दो और जाने का कहो। फातिमा बोली अनीस मियां जाते जाते सुन लो कि हमारी जिंदगी में अब तुम्हारी कोई जगह नहीं है दोबारा वापस मत आना। खुदा हाफ़िज़ ...

While he was not helping Fatima in the care of the children ! Anees's changing behavior had planted seeds of doubt in Fatima's mind. Now she was paying more attention to Anees than the children. But till now nothing has seen which would have strengthened the suspicion.

Till now everything looked normal. But where Anees used to come home again and again, Shahnaz used to either go out of the house as soon as he came or used to call the children near. Fatima was worried for Shahnaz, what is happening that is missing from my eyes. He used to get irritated because of his handicap. Because Fatima felt that Shahnaz is facing this trouble today because of her. last night Fatima could not sleep properly, so she took a nap. She didn't even know when Anees came. But she felt as if nearby Anees is asking Shahnaz's daughter to call me Papa. On hearing this, Fatima woke up and Anees was speaking the truth. Fatima remained lying with her eyes closed without moving, today she had to know the truth of Anees.

Anees now moved towards the kitchen and only then there was a loud sound of a utensil falling from the kitchen and Shahnaz came out of the house. By now Fatima had also say up. Fatima started shouting at Anees that I don't know since when she was silently tolerating your rudeness for my sake. Hearing Fatima's voice, Anees was shocked and started speaking, I had gone to drink water in the kitchen. Your sister is pressurising me for second marriage. Shahnaz standing behind the door was also listening to all this, wiping her tears, Shahnaz came inside and said to Fatima, trust me sister, I did not say anything like this to Anees. When Fatima staggered while trying to get down from the bed, Shahnaz ran and supported her. Anees is very surprised to see that Shahnaz is taking so much care of Fatima. Fatima said I am a burden to you and you want to get rid of me at any cost.

In such bad time, sister Shahnaz encourages me and teaches me to fight through difficult times to move forward. His noble teachings have given me the courage today that I can raise my children alone. You may or may not deal with me, but I and my children have nothing to do with you from today. Now Anees started apologizing to Shahnaz and Fatima but under any circumstances her. She had the courage to raise her children alone, even though her legs could not be cured. But still, along with her elder son, Fatima started sewing and selling clothes from home. Now Anwar did not have to carry the burden of the house alone, working with his mother also gave him some relief. Mother and son are working more and more together because after two days there is Eid - Al - Aadha in which they have to spend a lot. Hearing the sound of knocking on the door on the day of Eid, Fatima said who is it ? Come on in ! When I saw, Anees had come.

Fatima turned away and said to her son Anwar, today is Eid, give him some alms and ask him to leave. Fatima said Anees Miyan while leaving, listen that you have no place in our life now. Don't come back again Khuda Hafiz !!!
