रेहाना सोच रही थी कि यदि ये दूर की रिश्तेदार है तो रफीक इससे क्या बातें कर रहे हैं। अब आगे .........

खाना खाने के बाद सभी अपने अपने कमरों में चले गए लेकिन रफीक और सोफिया टहलने के लिए दोबारा छत पर चले गए। रूही को सुलाते हुए कब रेहाना की आंख लग गई उसे पता ही नहीं चला। सुबह जब आंख खुली तो देखी कि सोफिया चाय लेकर खड़ी है और बोल रही है उठिए मैं आप दोनों को कब से पुकार रही हूं।

बिना इजाज़त सोफिया का यूं कमरे में आ जाना रेहाना को बिल्कुल अच्छा नहीं लगा, लेकिन रफीक ने सोफिया को प्यार से देखा और चाय के लिए शुक्रिया कहा। रेहाना गुस्से से कमरे के बाहर चली गई, उसके पीछे रफीक भी दौड़कर आया और बोला तुम बिना वजह गुस्सा कर रही हो वो हमारी मेहमान है। कुछ दिनों में चली जायेगी वापस तब मेरा ख्याल तुम ही रखोगी हमेशा की तरह। सोफिया को पूरे छह महीने का समय हो गया यहां आए हुए, लेकिन उसे वापस जाने की कोई जल्दी नहीं है। यहां रफीक और रेहाना के रिश्ते में दरार आना शुरू हो चुकी थी। क्योंकि सोफिया हर वक्त रफीक के आगे पीछे ही रहती थी। रफीक को भी अपनी बीवी और बेटी की कोई चिंता नहीं थी। रेहाना कभी शिकायत करती कि आप हमें कहीं घुमाने नही ले जाते तो रफीक ये कहकर टाल देता था कि रूही अभी छोटी है। वो थोड़ी और बड़ी हो जाए तब हम कहीं दूर जायेंगे घूमने। दो तीन दिन से सोफिया की तबियत कुछ ठीक नहीं है, उसके लिए रफीक बहुत परेशान है। रफीक की मां उसे बार बार डॉक्टर के पास ले जाने को कह रही है, लेकिन सोफिया जाना नहीं चाह रही है। रेहाना ये सब देखकर हैरान है कि सासू मां सोफिया के लिए इतनी परेशान क्यों है। इतनी चिंता तो उन्होंने कभी मेरी भी नही की। सोफिया अस्पताल नहीं गई तो महिला डॉक्टर को घर ही बुलाया गया। महिला डॉक्टर ने जो बताई उस पर रेहाना को को यकीन नहीं आया, क्योंकि सोफिया की तो अब तक शादी भी नही हुई थी और डॉक्टर का कहना है कि सोफिया गर्भवती है। उस समय रफीक भी घर में ही थे और ये खबर सुनकर उन्होंने सोफिया का माथा चूम लिया और उसे मुबारकबाद दी।

क्या है ये सब ! रेहाना तो कुछ समझ ही नहीं पा रही थी। रफीक की हरकत से गुस्से में आकर रेहाना कमरे का सामान इधर उधर फेंकने लगी रफीक ने आकर रेहाना को संभालने की कोशिश की लेकिन इतनी बड़ी बात को रफीक भी संभाल नहीं पाया और एक कोने में खड़ा होकर रेहाना को बस देखता रहा। सामान फेंकते फेंकते रेहाना ने एक पुराना बक्सा फेंक दी जिसमें रफीक के कुछ बिल और जरूरी कागजात थे। उसमें से एक फोटो का लिफाफा गिरा और पूरे कमरे में फोटो बिखर गए। जिन्हें देखकर पता चला कि सोफिया रफीक की दूसरी बीवी है। इतना बड़ा झूठ और इस तरह के धोखे की उम्मीद रेहाना को कभी नहीं थी। रेहाना ने पूरे घर में हंगामा कर दी, रफीक से बोल दी कि जाओ सोफिया को अभी पहुंचाकर आओ उसके घर। लेकिन रफीक भी सोफिया को छोड़ना नहीं चाहता था इसलिए उसने रेहाना से कहा कि रहना है तो ऐसे ही रहो तुम्हारे हक़ कोई नहीं छीन रहा तुमसे। तुम मेरी पहली बीवी हो और इस घर पर पहला हक़ तुम्हारा ही रहेगा।

रोते हुए रेहाना बोली और तुम पर पहला हक़ किसका रहेगा उस सोफिया का। इस पर रफीक बोला तुम दोनो का मुझ पर बराबर हक होगा। लेकिन रेहाना रफीक को किसी के साथ बांटना नहीं चाहती थी। वो रफीक से बस यही बोल रही थी कि तुम्हें अल्लाह का वास्ता जाओ सोफिया को उसके घर छोड़ दो। मेरे प्यार में क्या कमी थी रफीक जो तुम ये सौतन ले आए घर में। अब रफीक रेहाना को रूही की कसम देकर मजबूर कर रहा था, कि वो ये सब स्वीकार कर ले और घर में तनाव पैदा ना करे। लेकिन रेहाना अब सोचने लगी क्या करूं कहां जाऊं। अपनी बेटी को ऐसे माहौल में नही रखना चाहती थी रेहाना। बेटी को ऐसे माहौल से दूर ले जाने का मन बना चुकी रेहाना अब रफीक से खुलकर बात करने की ज़िद पर आ गई। रफीक रोज की बहस से तनाव में रहने लगा। घर आया तो देखा कि आज भी रेहाना मुंह फुलाकर बैठी है, और जैसे ही रेहाना ने बोलना शुरू की कि क्या फैसला है आपका ? रफीक बिना सोचे समझे बोल गया कि तुम चली जाओ इस घर से। जवाब सुनकर रेहाना अवाक रह गई, बहते हुए आंसुओं को पोंछकर बोली बता दो रफीक कहां जाऊं मैं।

हमेशा की तरह रफीक का जवाब था कि मुझे मत पूछो, जहां तुम्हारा मन करे चली जाओ। रेहाना कुछ देर रफीक को देखती रही फिर बेटी रूही को गोद में उठाई और निकल पड़ी अनजान सफर पर। क्योंकि उसे खुद नही पता था कि वो कहां जायेगी। सुख का समय हो या दुःख का, समय कभी नहीं रुकता। घर से निकलने के बाद रेहाना की पढ़ाई उसके काम आई। रेहाना अपने पिता के घर ही वापस गई और जिस विषय में उसने पढ़ाई की थी उसमे पीएचडी करने का मन बनाई। उसकी मदद उनकी प्रोफेसर श्रीमती जोशी ने की। पीएचडी करने के बाद रेहाना डॉक्टर रेहाना कहलाने लगी और अब वो कॉलेज में प्रोफेसर के पद पर कार्यरत है। रेहाना लड़कियों को पढ़ाई के साथ साथ आत्मनिर्भर होने की बात भी समझाती है। रेहाना यही चाहती है कि उसकी तरह कोई और लड़की जिंदगी में ऐसे दोराहे पर आकर ना रुके। इसलिए अपने कुछ बनने के सपने को अधूरा मत छोड़ो। रेहाना की बेटी रूही अब नौ साल की हो चुकी है। कक्षा चौथी की छात्रा है वो, अपनी मां की तरह पढ़ाई में अव्वल है। इधर रेहाना ने इतने वर्षों में अपना एक अलग बंगला खरीद ली है और दोनों मां बेटी अपना जीवन प्यार और सुकून में जी रही है। लेकिन रफीक के साथ कुछ भी अच्छा नहीं हुआ, जिस सोफिया के लिए उसने अपनी पत्नी और बेटी को निकाल दिया था घर से, अब वो घर भी नहीं रहा रफीक के पास। रफीक के साथ क्या हुआ जानने के लिए अगला अंक जरूर पढ़ें.......

After dinner everyone went to their rooms but Rafiq and Sophia went back to the terrace for a walk. She didn't know when Rehana's eyes caught Ruhi while she was sleeping. When I opened my eyes in the morning I saw Sophia standing there with tea and saying, ' Get up I have been calling you both for a long time. Rehana didn't like it at all that Sophia came into the room without permission, but Rafiq looked at Sophia fondly and thanked her for the tea. Throwing things away, Rehana threw away an old box containing some of Rafiq's bills and important papers. One of the photo envelopes dropped and the photos were scattered all over the room. They turned out to be Sophia Rafiq's second wife. Rehana never expected such a big lie and this kind of deception. Rehana made a commotion in the whole house, told Rafiq to go and get Sophia to her house now. Rehana went back to her father's house and decided to pursue a PhD in the subject she had studied. She was helped by his professor Mrs. Joshi. After completing her PhD, Rehana became known as Dr. Rehana and is now a professor in the college. Rehana explains to the girls about studying as well as being sef reliant. Rehana wants no other girl like her to come to such a crossroads in life. So don't leave your dream of becoming something unfulfilled. Rehana's daughter Ruhi is now nine years old. She is a student of class 4. She excels in her studies like her mother. Meanwhile, Rehana has bought a separate bungalow of her own over the years and both the mother and daughter are living their life in love and peace.
