सतत् संघर्ष / Continuous Struggle

जीवन में संघर्ष और सुख एक सिक्के के दो पहलू हैं। संघर्ष के बिना सुख और खुशी की कोई अहमियत नहीं रहती। लेकिन कभी- कभी वक़्त इतने इम्तिहान लेता है कि उसके आगे इंसान बेबस और लाचार हो जाता है।

हिम्मत से आगे बढ़कर वक़्त से लड़ना और किस्मत को बदलने का जुनून मैंने सुधा में देखी। आज भी जब सुधा को देखती हूँ तो उसके संघर्ष के निशान उसकी मुस्कुराहट में दिखाई देते हैं। सुधा का बचपन ठीक - ठाक बीता, माता - पिता की लाडली सुधा पढाई - लिखाई और खेलकूद में भी अव्वल थी। पूरे गाँव में उसके जैसा होनहार बच्चा दूसरा नहीं था। सभी का प्रेम और आशीर्वाद मिलता था उसे। दसवीं की परीक्षा के बाद सुधा की शादी कर दी गई, जबकि आगे और पढ़ाई करने का सपना था उसका। ससुराल आने के बाद सुधा ने अपनी पढ़ाई नियमित रखने की बात पति दीपक को बताई। दीपक ने आगे पढ़ाने की सहमति दी और परीक्षा परिणाम का इंतजार करने को कहा।

सुधा दसवीं की परीक्षा में अच्छे अंक से उत्तीर्ण हो गई तो पति ने ग्यारहवीं कक्षा में सुधा का दाखिला करवा दिया। पढाई और परिवार में अच्छा तालमेल बिठाकर सुधा पूरी तरह अपने सपनों की तरफ बढ़ रही थी। कब एक वर्ष बीत गया पता ही नहीं चला, सुधा छोटी - छोटी खुशियों को जीते हुए आगे बढ़ रही थी। बारहवीं तक की पढ़ाई पूरी करके सुधा अब कोई छोटी - मोटी नौकरी की तलाश में थी। अब तक सुधा को कोई नौकरी तो नहीं मिली लेकिन समय ने उसकी परीक्षा लेने की तैयारी कर ली थी। सुधा गर्भवती है ये बात परिवार की खुशियों को दुगुना कर रही थी। सभी सुधा के बच्चे के जन्म का इंतजार कर रहे थे कि अचानक परिवार पर दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा। एक दुर्घटना में सुधा के ससुर का देहांत हो गया। परिवार पर आये संकट के समय सुधा ने सभी का बहुत ध्यान रखी लेकिन उसकी सास की हालत दिनों - दिन खराब हो रही थी। इधर सुधा के प्रसव का समय भी नजदीक आ रहा था। सुधा ने एक बेटे को जन्म दी, उसने अपने नवजात बच्चे को सास की गोद में डाल दी ताकि वो अपने दुःख से बाहर आ सके।

सुधा की ये कोशिश व्यर्थ नही गई, उसकी सास अब बच्चे का ख्याल रखने में बहुत व्यस्त रहती थी वो ये भूल ही गई कि उसके जीवन में कोई क्षति भी हुई थी। परिवार में सब ठीक चल रहा था लेकिन कहते है ना कि नसीब का लिखा कभी टलता नहीं। यही सुधा के साथ हो रहा था। सुधा के पति को पक्षाघात हो गया, दीपक पूरी तरह से सिर्फ पलंग पर ही पड़ा रहता था लेकिन सुधा ने दीपक को कभी ये एहसास नहीं होने दी कि उसकी सेवा करने में उसे भी परेशानी हो रही है क्योंकि सुधा दूसरी बार माँ बनने वाली है। अपनी तकलीफों को भूलकर सुधा दीपक की इस तरह सेवा करती थी जैसे दीपक आज ही उठकर खड़ा हो जाएगा। लेकिन दीपक अपनी तरफ से कोई कोशिश नहीं कर रहा था जल्दी स्वस्थ होने की।

इधर सुधा ने अस्पताल में बेटी को जन्म दी। बेटी के जन्म के एक माह बाद ही सुधा को भी पक्षाघात हो गया जिसमें उसके शरीर का दायाँ हिस्सा शिथिल हो गया। अब उसके जीवन में दुःखों ने जैसे डेरा डाल लिया था। इधर बेटी को संभालना और साथ ही दीपक का ख्याल रखना उसके लिए बहुत मुश्किल हो गया। दीपक की हालत अब पहले से भी ज्यादा खराब हो गई। सुधा पिछले पांच सालों से प्रयास कर रही थी कि दीपक की हालत में सुधार आये, लेकिन आज उसकी सभी कोशिशों को विराम लग गया दीपक ने जिंदगी को अलविदा कह दिया। अपने आपसे हारी हुई सुधा अब दोबारा खुद से लड़ने की हिम्मत नहीं कर पा रही थी। नन्ही सी रुनझुन हर पल माँ के आँसुओ को पोंछकर उसे अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का एहसास कराती थी। दोबारा खड़ी होकर हालातों से लड़ना सुधा की नियति है, क्योंकि रुनझुन की परवरिश की जिम्मेदारी अब सुधा पर ही है जिससे वो मुँह नही मोड़ सकती। हालात चाहे जो भी हो एक औरत उन हालातों पर और खुद की कमजोरी पर जीत हासिल करने का हौसला रखती हैं। सुधा भी एक योद्धा की तरह डटकर खड़ी है हर मुसीबत से लड़ कर बेटी रुनझुन को अच्छी परवरिश देने की जिम्मेदारी निभा रही है।

सुधा के सतत् संघर्ष से प्रेरणा मिलती हैं कि हम भी खुद को कमजोर ना समझे और हालातों का बहाना करके अपनी जिम्मेदारियों से मुंह न मोड़े। सुधा खुद भी पक्षाघात की पीड़ा झेल रही थी लेकिन फिर भी उसने अपना हर कर्तव्य निभाई। सुधा पति की मृत्यु के बाद बेटी रुनझुन का पालन - पोषण अकेली ही कर रही है। सिर्फ एक मां ही असली योद्धा नहीं होती हैं। हर स्त्री एक योद्धा है क्योंकि वो हर दिन किसी न किसी विषम परिस्थिति से जूझकर खुद को और परिवार को सुरक्षित रखने की कोशिश करती रहती हैं। आज महिला दिवस है हम भी प्रण करें कि विषम परिस्थितियों से घबरायेंगे नही, डटकर सामना करेंगे हालातों का। क्योंकि संघर्ष हमारे जीवन का अभिन्न अंग है। ☺☺

Struggle and happiness in life are two sides of the same coin. Without struggle, happiness and joy have no value. But sometimes time tests us so much that a person becomes helpless and powerless in front of it.

I saw in Sudha the courage to fight against time and the passion to change fate. Even today when I see Sudha, the marks of her struggle are visible in her smile. Sudha's childhood was fine, her parents'darling Sudha was also the best in studies and sports. There was no other child as talented as her in the entire village. She was loved and blessed by everyone. Sudha was married off after her 10th standard examination, even though she had dreams of further studies. After coming to continue her studies regularly. Deepak agreed to let her study further and asked her to wait for the exam results.

When Sudha passed the 10tb standerd examination with good marks, her husband got her enrolled in the 11th standard. Sudha was moving towards her dreams by maintaining a good balance between studies and family. She did not even realise when a year passed by. sudha was moving ahead enjoying small joys. After completing her studies till 12th standard, Sudha was now looking for a small job. Till now Sudha did not get any job but time was ready to test her. The fact that Sudha was pregnant was doubling the happiness of the family. Everyone was waiting for the birth of Sudha's child when suddenly a mountain of sorrows fell on the family. Sudha's father - in - law died in an accident. Sudha took great care of everyone during the crisis in the family but her mother - in - law's condition was getting worse day - by- day. Meanwhile, the time of Sudha's delivery was also coming near. Sudha gave birth to a son, she put her newborn child in her mother - in - law's lap so that she could come out of her sorrow.

Sudha's efforts did not go in vain, her mother - in - law was now so busy taking care of the child that she forgot that there was a loss in her life. Everything was going well in the family but it is said that destiny can never be avoided. This is what was happening with Sudha. Sudha's husband suffered from paralysis, Deepak was completely confined to his bed but Sudha never let Deepak feel that she was having difficulty serving him because she was going to be a mother for the second time. Forgetting her own troubles. Sudha served Deepak as if he would get up and stand today. But Deepak was not making any effort from his side to get well soon.

Here Sudha gave birth to a daughter in the hospital. A month after the birth of her daughter Sudha also suffered paralysis in which the right side of her body become paralyzed. Now it seemed as if sorrows had taken over her life. It become very difficult for her to take care of her daughter as well as Deepak. Deepak's condition has become worse than before. Sudha had been trying for the last five years to improve Deepak's condition, but today all her efforts come to an end, Deepak said goodbye to life. Sudha, who had lost to herself, was now unable to muster the courage to fight again. Little Runjhun used to wipe her mother's tears every moment and make her realize her responsibilities. It is Sudha's destiny to stand up again and fight the circumstances. Because the responsibility of upbringing Runjhun is now on Sudha and she cannot turn away from it. Whatever the situation, a woman has the courage to win over those circumstances and her own weaknesses. Sudha is also standing firm like a warrior and fighting every problem and fulfilling the responsibility of giving a good upbringing to her daughter Runjhun.

Sudha's continuous struggle inspires us that we should not consider ourselves weak and should not turn away from our responsibilities by giving excuses of circumstances, Sudha herself was suffering from paralysis but still she performed all her duties. After the death of her husband, Sudha is raising her daughter Runjhun alone. A mother is not the only real warrior. Every woman is a warrior because she tries to keep herself and her family safe by batting some adverse situation every day. Today is Women's Day, let us also pledge that we will not be afraid of adverse circumstances, we will face the situations bravely.
